Can I ask you a question? Do you know where you’re going when you leave this life? What if I told you that you could know for sure? The first thing you have to know is that no one is perfect, and no one can ever be good enough to get to heaven on their own. The bible calls our imperfections sin.
The second thing is that there is a penalty for our sin which is death. That’s why no one lives here in this life forever.
The third thing is that that God loves you so much that He sent His son Jesus to the earth to die to pay the price for your sin. When Jesus died, He made it possible for us to go to heaven. If He would have refused to die, our only option would be hell. The good news is that Jesus didn’t stay dead. On the third day, He rose from the grave and is now in heaven watching over us and preparing a place for us when our time comes.
The fourth and final thing is another question for you. Do you want to go to heaven after this life? Do you understand that you’re a sinner – that you’re not perfect? Do you believe that Jesus died and rose again so that you can go to heaven? If so, all you have to do is confess that with your mouth. The bible says that if you confess with your mouth what believe in your heart that you will be saved. And that means that you'll know for sure that you're on our way to heaven.
If you’re ready, say this quick prayer: Lord, I know I am a sinner and I’m not perfect. Please forgive me for my sins. Thank you for dying and rising again so that I can be saved. I want to go to heaven, and I receive you into my heart as my personal Lord and Savior.
Congratulations!!! Now you know for sure that you’re on your way to heaven! Your next step is to attend a church near you where you can learn more about Jesus, about His love for you, and about what your purpose is in this life.
